Eco Kickstarter is Live!

August 10, 2015
We’ve just launched our Kickstarter campaign for our next project Eco!

We’re creating an online world occupied by a simulated ecosystem running 24 hours a day, in which you must build a civilization and create laws to make decisions as a group. Build up enough technology to prevent a global catastrophe, without causing one in the process.

We’re planning to really involve the community in this project, with early feedback and the possibility to contribute directly to the game.  Just as the game is about building a community, so will be it’s development.

Kickstarter link here:

The response we’ve had to Eco has already been fantastic, and we can’t wait to build this project openly with the community, involving them at every step.

The Eco Team is a collection of introverted and sometimes genius programmers/designers based in Seattle and Australia. We all grew up and thrive in the video game culture, so of course making them is our dream job. We look forward to continuing to put out quality games for the community of players.

Skype has opened its website-dependent consumer beta for the entire world, following launching it broadly
in the U.S. and You.K. previously this month. Skype for Internet
also now works with Chromebook and Linux for instant online messaging
connection (no voice and video but, these demand a connect-in installation).

The increase of the beta brings assistance for an extended selection of dialects to assist strengthen that global user friendliness

Hello, are there other possibilties to pay for kickstarter, then the ones shown? I’d really like to donate, but we only have a card for the (German) Sparkasse…

Thanks and I’m looking forward to the game, whenever I’ll be able to play it 😉

I asked John if there will be any donation on the website after KickStarter. I’ll keep you posted since he’s got a lot of stuff do to :p. You will maybe be able to buy the game on Steam Early Access but no info on that matter.

Hello. I have just found this game in a random search for an older eco simulation game like this one, but since this one is way better; I would like to know how I could obtain a copy of this game. Rather several copies for an enviromental science class. What are a few ways that I could accomplish this?
Thank you for taking time to read this.

First one would be backing the game on kickstarter
      $35 gives you release copy(Jan 2017), Beta(Apr 2016) and Alpha (Next Month)
$25 gives you release and beta
$20 gives you the release only
The game will be available on steam on release or maybe even earlier with beta or alpha but I haven’t seen any certain info about that.
I’ve also asked John today if there will be donations on the website after kickstarted but I have not yet received an update. I’ll keep you posted if I do.

No death by animals, but you can become incapacitated till you heal. You can only die from punishment for breaking a law, if the government assigns the death penalty.
